The firm is seeking an experienced Trial Attorney to join its Landlord-Tenant Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landlord-tenant litigation, exceptional legal writing and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of courtroom success.
𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬
• Represent clients in landlord-tenant litigation matters, including trials and hearings.
• Draft and review predicate notices, pleadings, motions, and complex settlement agreements.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate on behalf of clients in various legal settings.
• Conduct legal research and utilize case management software effectively.
𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬
• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the New York State Bar.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in landlord-tenant litigation.
• Demonstrated experience with all aspects of case preparation, trial work, and client interaction.
• Strong legal drafting, research, and analytical skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Technologically adept and comfortable using legal research databases and practice management tools.

• 1/3 of collected billable hours paid directly to the attorney.
