𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰
Our client is looking for a motivated and experienced Traffic Project Manager to join their Transportation Division. The successful candidate will manage traffic engineering projects including traffic analyses, intersection improvements, and Highway Occupancy Permits (HOPs). While the initial focus will be on supporting existing projects, the role offers the potential to build and lead a new team based on the candidate’s ability to secure new business and foster client relationships.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬
• Lead and manage a team of designers and engineers in traffic project design and analysis
• Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior staff
• Conduct traffic studies such as Transportation Impact Studies, Corridor Studies, and Signal Retiming
• Develop plans and specifications for intersections, roadways, and traffic control systems
• Design signing and pavement markings, traffic control plans, site lighting, and roadway safety elements
• Oversee quality control for deliverables produced by the Transportation Team
• Support the Transportation Division Manager with project oversight and client communications
• Collaborate with other project managers to ensure timely and effective project delivery

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant traffic engineering experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Synchro, HCS, MS Word, and MS Excel
• Solid knowledge of PennDOT Publications, design standards, and HOP requirements

𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬
• Pennsylvania Professional Engineer (PE) license
• PTOE (Professional Traffic Operations Engineer) certification
• Experience managing PennDOT transportation projects

Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associate’s degree considered
